GALAPAGOS DAY ![]() Galapagos Day – the annual public event organised by the Galapagos Conservation Trust, the UK’s only charity dedicated to raising funds and awareness for the Galapagos islands. Guest panel of speakers: travel writer and conservationist, Stanley Johnson (father of the London mayor); H E the Ambassador of Ecuador, Mrs Ana Albán Mora; great great granddaughter of Charles Darwin, Dr Sarah Darwin; and Executive Director of the Charles Darwin Foundation, in Galapagos, Dr J Gabriel Lopez. The panel will talk about their different experiences of one of the world’s most iconic natural wonders and their thoughts on the Islands' future. Following this Stanley Johnson will open the discussion out to the audience.
